What is the duration of the Tourism Career Expo?

The Tourism Career Expo will be held for five days from 9:00 am Tuesday, May 17 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, 21, 2022.

During this time, job seekers will have access to the virtual exposition space, as well as time to meet with employers virtually on Wednesday, May 18 from 9:00am to 4:00pm

WILL I BE ABLE TO APPLY FOR JOBS AT THE TOURISM CAREER EXPO?

Yes, you will be able to apply to all job offers posted during the Tourism Career Expo.

WHEN WILL JOB OFFERS BE POSTED?

As of Tuesday, May 17, all job offers will be posted and virtual kiosks will be open for virtual visits.

I WOULD LIKE TO CHAT TO AN EMPLOYER, BUT ISN'T PRESENT FOR CHAT?

It will only be possible to chat with employers during the live day on Wednesday, May 18, during the Tourism Career Expo hours.

CAN I CONDUCT INTERVIEWS VIA THE CHAT TOOL?

Yes. It is also possible that an employer may invite you to a video conference to conduct an interview over video.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER?

Yes, registration is required.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR A JOB?

Apply for a job directly at an Employer Kiosk by submitting your resume virtually or during the live day at the Tourism Career Expo.

How should I respond to questions?

Prepare answers to questions interviewers could ask you at the Tourism Career Expo. Have one-to-two-minute answers to common interview questions like, “Why should we hire you?” and “Tell me about a time you overcame a difficult obstacle.” Use examples to support your answer from your professional or academic background.

Do I have the necessary system requirements?

You can use your smart phone, computer, or tablet. You will also need a stable internet connection. Communication with employers will be through live chats and video chats.
